Courses typically run over one weekend and includes 2 lectures, 1 dissection (if available) and 3 dives although other formats can easily be arranged. Courses based at Aliwal Shoal are run from July to November each year during 'raggie' season. Sharks dives can also be arranged at Sodwana Bay (ragged tooth sharks; December - March), Protea Banks (various species including scalloped hammerhead and Zambezi sharks), and Mossel Bay (Great white sharks).
One-off talks or lectures can also be arranged for schools, groups of friends or as part of team building exercises.
Although costs are variable depending on the course, typical weekend shark courses are R2500 per group (normally 8-10 people) excluding dives and accomodation. Diving and accomodation can be arranged through Ocean Planet.
